The idea of creating an ensemble arose during the pandemic. In the absence of performances in front of the public in concert halls, the musicians were looking for alternative ways to preserve musical creativity and bring it to the listener. Thus, the leading musicians of the Jerusalem Orchestra united into a chamber group and actively engaged in performing chamber music for a strictly limited number of listeners.

In the ensemble, along with honored masters, talented representatives of the new generation of musicians of the Jerusalem Symphony, which brings originality to the style of performance.

The ensemble has five permanent members, but also invited musicians take part in the ensemble's programs, which allows performing larger-scale works if necessary.
